An Elmont pizza shop was robbed Wednesday night of an undisclosed amount of cash — and the cash register drawer that held the money — by a man armed with a large kitchen knife, Nassau police said.
A thin man who was described as 6 feet, 3 inches tall and wearing a black hoodie and black mask used the knife to rob a female employee of the Little Caesar’s Pizza at 237-05 Linden Blvd., Robbery Squad detectives said.
The man fled from the restaurant on foot with the cash register drawer and money.
No one was injured.
Detectives said anyone with information on the robbery could call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-8477.
