As the primary election season kicks into high gear, both candidates and public figures alike are burning rubber along the campaign trail. On Tuesday, April 5th, 2016, none other than 42nd President of the United States, Bill Clinton, will be appearing at The Vault Café in Elmont, according to reports.
Organized by the Nassau County Democrats together with Former Secretary Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, the historic event will take place beginning at 10 a.m., where Bill Clinton will speak on Hillary’s vision for the future.
Democratic presidential candidates, Clinton and Senator Bernie Sanders have criss-crossed New York City communities over the past several days to energize voters in advance of the April 19th primary election.
Political implications aside, a visit by a former U.S. President is a remarkable event in the history of the Elmont community.
