As the primary election season kicks into high gear, both candidates and public figures alike are burning rubber along the campaign trail. On Tuesday, April 5th, 2016, none other than 42nd President of the United States, Bill Clinton, will be appearing at The Vault Café in Elmont, according to reports.
Organized by the Nassau County Democrats together with Former Secretary Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, the historic event will take place beginning at 10 a.m., where Bill Clinton will speak on Hillary’s vision for the future.
Political implications aside, a visit by a former U.S. President is a remarkable event in the history of the Elmont community.
(Note that if you scroll to the bottom right of our page, you will find a countdown calendar to the Primary Election on April 19th, which, for Elmont residents, will also feature a Special Election for Senate District 9, after the conviction of Senator Dean Skelos on corruption charges back in December of 2015.)
