Elmont native, Goldie Harrison, was featured as a “Campus Celebrity” in a recent interview with Her Campus of SUNY New Paltz.
“This school has really changed my life in and outside of the classroom,” Harrison said.
Aptly nicknamed, “Goldie the Goal-Getter,” Harrison wears many hats. She is captain of the Women’s Basketball Team, Student Activities Manager and even interns with ABC Television Network to name a few roles.
“I use my 24 hours wisely,” remarked Harrison, who is currently a senior at SUNY New Paltz majoring in Business Marketing & Digital Media Production.
“Also, what’s great about it is everything that I am involved in, I am extremely passionate about, so nothing really feels like work to me. I’m just doing what I love.”
Her Campus is an online global community for college women serving as a career launching point for its team members.
Her Campus New Paltz members gain hands on experience in fields of journalism, public relations, social media, event planning, marketing and more.
